This blushing rose had some interesting characteristics; it had scarcely any thorns, a good scent, and pretty double flowers. It was raised by M. Allegatiere of Lyon, and introduced in 1888. A climbing sport appeared from it in 1904. The name in several authorities is `Marie Pavic’.
