'WEKsacsoul' rose Description

Red blend Shrub. Registration name: WEKsacsoul Exhibition name: Be-Bop ™
Bloom:
Cerise, yellow center, silver(y) reverse. None to mild fragrance. 5 to 8 petals. Average diameter 2.5". Medium, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters, cupped, ruffled bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, spreading, well-branched. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 30" to 43" (75 to 110cm). Width: 43" to 4' (110 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, garden, ground cover or landscape. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

This invention relates to a new and distinct variety of Shrub Rose. It has as its seed parent the variety known as `POUlclaus` (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 9,063) and as its pollen parent an undisseminated seedling of my creation. ....description is of 3 to 4 year-old rose plants of the new variety grown outdoors in Upland, Calif. in the month of September.
