Origin:
Discovered by C.R. Bloom (United Kingdom, 1933).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1961 as '"Oakington Ruby"'.
Class:
Found Rose, Lawranceana, Miniature.  
Bloom:
Crimson to rose-red, white center.  Average diameter 1.25".  Large bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short.  

Height: up to 1' (up to 30cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
