'Sister Elizabeth' rose Reviews & Comments

Don't mean to sound so negative but I would not recommend buying this rose. I bought it because my only sister is named Elizabeth. It is not useful in the garden because it is short in stature and in a pot, it has been cute but not fragrant. I will keep it because of the name only.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Site guests are quick to point out the roses they love but we need to know which ones disappoint and why.

Sorry it has taken so long to reply. I just seen this tonight. Yes, it is very disease resistant it seems and it always seem to be in bloom.

I can not say that I've detected much fragrance. Each persons sense of smell varies though. I know this sounds odd, but last season, many of my strongly fragrant roses didn't have much smell and it was not just me, others did not smell them either. Weird.
I don't know if anyone else has ever encountered that.
Back to Sister Elizabeth. The other aspects are wonderful and I think it would be a great container rose.
