At first I wondered if the plant we had were the same as what I had seen photos of. Then I realized that it has the same behavior as 'Double Delight' -- in a greenhouse with no UV light, it is a white rose, with the tiniest hint of a pink picotee. But when planted out in the garden, it is a nice bright pink with reddish shading, as it should be. I like the greenhouse-grown version at least as well.

A friend brought me a plant of Mme Antoine Mari in the boot of her car, via a three-day drive. The flower on it was white, but turned pink in the sun; another phototrophic one.
