Bred by Lord Penzance (United Kingdom, 1894).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1896 as 'Rose Bradwardine'.

Bloom:

Light pink, violet shading, white undertones. Strong fragrance. Average diameter 1.75". Small to medium, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Leafy sepals buds.

Habit:

Climbing. Small, fragrant foliage. 7 leaflets.

Height: 6' to 8'2" (185 to 250cm). Width: 5' (150cm).
