Okay, why isn't this rose in the US? It looks quite commercial, and quite yellow! And "healthy for an HT".

Don't know. John Ford sent a few of his family's roses to Style Roses in the U.K. and a couple of them are grown in Germany - and now this one in Japan. Nola Simpson bred some fantastic roses, as did her husband earlier on.
