Rose photo courtesy of Planetrj (zone 11b/H2 pH 5.8)
Beautiful “fern-like” small foliage (similar to Vineyard Song). Loves full sun and warmth. Holds very attractive bushy foliage all year in mild climate, and has a near fluorescent orange inside petal with apricot reverse. Delicious unusual strong fragrance! Stopped at 5 feet tall and densely bushy in its second year!

Very Vibrant coloration in hot weather, and 7 hours sunlight every day. Extremely strong perfumed. Delicious!

December 2019. Blackheath NSW, Australia. First year planted bareroot in very acidic soil (pH 4.5) with a little lime my 3 LoS plants are very healthy and pumping out a succession of flower clusters, despite the drought and hot early summer. Leaves have tiny brown spots so possibly a bit deficient in something from the acidity. The flowers glow in afternoon light- very bright at first but then mellow to a more refined peach. Has a lovely (myrrh?) scent that is more apparent in the evening to me. I only wish the plant was a bit more compact but hopefully it will mature to a better shape. I have planted 3 next to each other in the hope that they will support each other - but perhaps she will be a good subject for pegging?
