The patent in the Govt. PDF file says this rose is [<Multnomah x (Pinocchio x Saturnia)> x <Carousel x L.E. Longley x Charles Mallerin>]

So, there we have it -- the remaining parts of the parentage.

Thanks Michael. We have presumed the Saturnia was the Aicardi's 1933 one, and not Gazzania's 1938.

I think that is correct. Based on his other works, he was attempting to cross the orange-toned Pernet types into the orange-toned floribunda types. What was found, however, that using red brought out the orange more so that the orange-toned Pernet types did. Fashion is the classic example. Instead, the orange-toned Pernet types were more likely to cause bicolors and other odd colors.
