Saffo (Sensation x Potin). È stata premiata con certificato di merito al secondo concorso al Colle Oppio, è una rosa rosso ciliegia di grande effetto e di grande bellezza ed attrattiva.
Translation:
Saffo (Sensation x Potin). It received a certificate of merit at the second competition at Oppio Hill, is a cherry-red rose of great effect, great Beauty and attractiveness.

La Médaille d'Or 1934 pour une nouvelle rose italienne n'est pas décernée. Il est donné un Cerlifical a la variété n° 12, dénommée Saffo, obtention de M. Aicardi, à San-Remo.

La medaglia d’oro 1934 per una nuova rosa italiana non è assegnata. Si assegna un certificato alla varietà N. 12. Aperta la busta relativa risulta ottenuta dal Sig. Cav. Uff. Domenico Aicardi. E’ la varietà segnata: Saffo 22-P. (J. Potin x Sensation) ottenuta nel 1930-1931. Fiore rosa carminio forte e brillante, con la base dei petali a fondo giallo oro, molto grande, assai pieno.
Translation: The gold medal 1934 for the new italian rose was not awarded. A certificate was assigned to the variety N. 12 bred by Mr. Domenico Aicardi in 1930-1931 and named Saffo 22-P (J. Potin x Sensation). Flower very large and full, colour strong and brilliant carmine pink, gold yellow at the base of the petals
