Veteran's Honor was introduced May 27, 1999, Memorial Day Weekend... Developed by Jackson & Perkins, 10 percent of sales from 'Veteran's Honor' will be donated to the Department of Veterans Affairs medical research program... a large, dark red hybrid tea with a light raspberry fragrance... This rose was released in 1995 under the name 'Five Roses' and is the Jackson & Perkins Rose of the Year for 2000.

City of Newcastle Bicentenary Rose (JACopper) Breeder:Jackson & Perkins Roses from USA. Named in honour of this city's Bicentennial Year this lovely red rose follows in the tradition of and is not unlike 'Avon', a much sought after rose. 'City of Newcastle' has many petalled, fragrant clear red blooms, carried on long stems, contrasted against dense green foliage.
