HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.

Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

Father Jerome from warm CA reported that Versigny is 5' x 4', excellent rose. The bloom is a glowing apricot sunset color. It smells like a peach pie, yummy! The bush has large thorns, but very healthy in my alkaline clay.

Second year as own root in zone 5a: Green to tip through the winter. Compact bush, 2' x 2', thick-petals that stand up to the heat above 90 degrees. The scent is delicious apricot pie. This rose needs FAST-DRAINING soil (well-drained), otherwise leaves drop off in standing rain-water.

Great ! You taking the time to share your experience is much appreciated by all. If only more HMF website guests would do the same.

Pat Henry of Roses Unlimited own-root nursery recommended Versigny for its fragrance, that's why I bought Versigny in 2012, and again in 2017 ... hopefully HMF would change Versigny's scent to strong, since that definitely beats Sutter's Gold. Versigny is anong few scents that I would call "pure heaven", along with Jude the Obscure, Dee-lish, Duchess de Rohan and Comte de Chambord.

For comparison of this rose, vs. other own-root ORANGE roses, see below link:

I love this one! I'm growing roses in containers and it's a hard task but this one does very well in container!
It's disease resistant, bloom repeating is very good and it has a very nice delicate smell.
