HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.

Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

I remember growing this one.

The plant size and architecture were good. The blooms had a nice shape and there were a lot of them. Like most miniatures of that time, they had a rough time with black spot.

I originally bought the rose for the color, but I also shovel-pruned it for the color. What I thought would be a coral red or pink, turned out to be a strange tone of tomato coral. I found it depressing. Compared to Giggles, which I also had at the same time, that was always cheery-looking, albeit a much larger plant. Hot Tamale and its kin came soon enough, which made many of the previous fruity colored minis obsolete.

Millie Walters is a wonderful miniature rose in the high desert, 5700ft, z7a. High summer temperatures can range between 99F and 106F but the blooms keep coming, while most of my other roses are phoning it in. It's growing in a container in full sun till 3pm and then shade the rest of the day. Very prolific bloomer. The rest between flushes is very short, a week or two, and the blooms have good staying power on the bush. The color here is a true and bright coral, not pink or orange.
