Renown—Single; 10-12 petals in 2-3 rows. Copper rose with gold undertones, very similar to Hesperus. (Differences lie in filaments, stigmas and sheath; Renown's are paler.) Flares small, darker than petal color. Filaments very short, dull reddish. Stigmas cream; sheath mauve-lilac. Stamens abundant. Reblooms in July- August.
