Introduced in Belgium by Louis van Houtte in circa 1853 as 'François Ortegat'.

Purple - crimson, yellow center.  Mild to strong, rose fragrance.  Average diameter 6".  Medium, double, rose bloom form.  Mid-to-late.

Height: 35" to 39" (90 to 100cm).
