Of the Pæonies, the best were Mons. Marsaux, bright carmine; Medusa, crimson; Leonie Calot, white, with a salmon tinge; Cleopatra, shining pink; Acanum, deep crimson; Miss Brice, rich pink; Comte de Gower, rich crimson; and Lady Gwendoline Cecil, white.
