Bred by Unknown Japanese Breeder(s) (Japan, before 1926).
Introduced in United States by Henry & Lee in 1926 as 'Miyo-hikari'.

Hybrid suffruticosa.  
Bloom:
Vermilion-salmon.  Very large, semi-double bloom form.  Prolific.  
Habit:
Tall.
