C. Nichols, deceased, originator, and Gilbert H. Wild & Son, Inc., Sarcoxie, Missouri, owners, growers and distributors: Pink Champagne (Nicholls-G. H. Wild & Son, Inc., 1964). Anemone. Midseason, pink and yellow. Seedling No. N 289. No parentage given. A "different" new color break! The single row of guard petals is a delicate pink edged with silver, surrounding a full center of lemon yellow petalodes which fade little. A few petalodes the same color as the guard petals surround the carpels, making an attractive center. The bright, showy flowers are carried on strong, stiff stems.
