Introduced in United States by Plants Nouveau in 2025 as 'Summer Sunset'.
Class:
Intersectional Hybrid / Itoh.  
Bloom:
Yellow or golden-yellow, pink shading, ages to orange-pink .  Golden stamens.  None / no fragrance.  Average diameter 5.25".  Medium, semi-double to double bloom form.  
Habit:
Compact, medium.  

Height: up to 3' (up to 90cm).  Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 3a through 8a.

The crossing resulting in the new cultivar was made in summer of 1998 in a backyard in Windham, NH. The seed parent is the cultivar Paeonia 'Martha W', unpatented. The pollen parent is the cultivar Paronia 'Smith's Yellow', an unpatented tree peony hybrid.
