Corowa, Australia 2024. Another very reliable bloomer that is covered in blooms on the first flush and then takes some to bloom again and from then generally has blooms through the season. No discernible scent but blooms that hold their shape well, fading as they age.

I guess it’s his genius. The scent is underwhelming if one of those many flowers release it. I did not plant that thing ten years ago, but he doesn't mind being a bit higher. I shouldn’t be bothered as I am about those almost obscenely blooming scentless roses like ‘The Fairy’ too. In my own garden they would be shovel pruned right away. But this specific one has some sentimental value too, so he might bloom and enjoy the sun in the future. Oh and he’s a tad bit lighter in vivo.
