I just purchased this rose called a Bonita Renaissance.. now I live in Hamburg, Germany.. our weather here is very much like Seattle... altho this year we are warmer and drier than SoCal.. This rose is pink with a medium sized blossom and many more than 14 petals.. it is really a cluster. Very different than your description of the Bonita although It does indeed have a very strong wonderful scent. And I have absolutely no other knowledge or information for it's proper care... can anyone help?

Bonita is in the Poulsen Renaissance series of shrub roses. The Renaissance roses are hardy and have a good disease resistance so Bonita should do very well for you with just the basic care for any rose bush..
