I live in hot and humid Houston area, and all my other mini's in the summertime don't bloom. As a matter of fact a lot of my roses don't bloom in this triple digit heat and drought. But....Bee's Knees does bloom constantly. I love this rose. Never any problems with insects or disease. It blooms in part-shade, and gets maybe 4 hours of sun per day. It makes good cut flowers.

If I recall, the reason J/P had issues with it is because their cold area customers could not grow it. It would die. It definitely is a heat lover, though!
