'Trier' P. Lambert (Germany), 1904. Habit: large shrub of approx. 1,50 m to 2 m; may attain 3 m if it is espaliered; some prickles. Foliage: dark green, glossy, slightly wrinkled. Bloom: small, single to semi-double, flat; in large clusters of several dozen flowers. Slight repeat. Colour : ivory-white to cream. Fragrance: Good.

'Trier' without doubt ... 'Aglaia' x 'Rêve d'Or'. Breeder: Lambert, 1904. Height: 2 m. Recurrent. Semi-double, mild fragrance, tolerates half-shade, very hardy, tolerates poor soils. It is the origin of the modern musk roses. ..large lax trusses of small white blooms, flat, with golden-yellow stamens, surrounded by two rows of irregular petals, in heart form. The foliage, light and dark, is quite ample.
