This is an extraordinary landscape rose. In its vigor, disease resistance and flower production it's much like the Knockouts, but with much nicer flowers. It is highly resistant to black spot, and even when grown without fungicides in humid Boston and Providence it stays almost blackspot free.
It blooms freely and continuously, in large sprays. The flowers (3-3.5") vary slightly in color from coral to hot pink---the color is strong and a little harsh for my taste, but I've gotten used to it. My nose detects no fragrance. The petals drop cleanly without deadheading. Produces large colorful hips.
It is bushy in habit, but it stays short here at about 3' tall. Unusually winter hardy for a floribunda. It should be much more widely known and grown (and used in breeding).
