Bloom: Pink.  Strong fragrance.  up to 50 petals.  Average diameter 3.25".  Medium to large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Mossed buds.   
Habit: Arching, bushy, suckers on its own roots, well-branched.  Large, matte, light green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
 Height: 4' to 6' (120 to 185cm).  Width: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes: 'Old Moss' known at Carcasonne in France around 1696 - see References (doubtful). First mention in 1699. |
