Introduced in France by Portemer in 1855 as 'Alfred de Dalmas'.

Class:

Moss.

Bloom:

Pink, light pink edges. Purplish pink reverse. Moderate fragrance. 20 to 40 petals. Average diameter 3.25". Medium, very double, cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season. Mossed buds.

Habit:

Armed with thorns / prickles. 7 leaflets.

Height: 2' to 4' (60 to 120cm). Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower or garden. Hardy. heat tolerant. shade tolerant.
