ARS: Medium red.Registration name: Cramoisi Supérieur, Cl.
 
Origin: Bred by Couturier fils  (France, 1885).  Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp  in 1909 as 'Cramoisi Supérieur, Cl.'.  
Bloom: Crimson.  Occasionally striped white in the centre.  None to mild fragrance.  Large, semi-double to double, globular bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.   
Habit: Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  
 Height: 12' to 20' (365 to 610cm).  Width: 10' (305cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 7b through 9b.  Very vigorous.  prefers dry climates.
