A new Alba hybrid with a red kordesii rose, raised by Sievers in Germany and introduced in 1988. The stems reach 5 ft (1.5 m). Large, red flowers are produced in quantity, but only in early summer.
Hardy to -30°F (-34° C), Zone 4.
