The "Cristin Cira" rose was named after my daughter who died following a drowning accident while in a swimming lesson. My dear neighbours Pat and Roger Guest combed hundreds of nurseries looking for the perfect rose to name after her. Yes, of course I do have Cristin Cira roses in my garden and I still encourage Hortico Nurseries to continue propagating them. I'm happy to know that this rose has made it to the States, I thought it was only being grown in Canada and being passed from friend to friend. My husband is goint to be tickled pink when I tell him what I've found out today about our daugther's rose.
