This rose strikes easy for me from cuttings, without special treatment. Even outdoors in the garden soil.

Does Aloha has a yellow variety? Can someone enlighten me please? I have a pink Aloha plant, bought recently. My rose seller advertised for Aloha yellow. Then I checked internet and found the same shape of rose ornage in colour.

I purchase Aloha Climber as a potted rose last fall, in mid-november it had 3 blooms on it. This season it has taken off very quickly, it is loaded with buds(which i thought it unusal, i figure it would just grown for a season) but it is flowering faster than my social climber did at this age. Beautiful full petal flowers, and i just noticed the strong scent it has. I loved it so much i purchased a barefroot which is also doing well and flowering. Both Alohas are on the back fence next to black magic. I needed shade tolerant varieties for that area. With all the rain we had gotten for two months and now the humdity Aloha had gotten some black spotting but it doesnt seem to really be spreading throughout the bush as with some of the others. I have not noticed any rust or mildew on it, as i have with some of my miniature roses. I do spray weekly for disease and insect controll.

Aloha is winter hardy for zone 6 PA, with no more that mulch protection. This rose is slow to open and it has staying power on the cane and in the vase. Great addition to any garden, very hardy rose.

Thank you, I also look for partial shade roses.
