....One in particular was 'Countess Bertha', which of course was Comtesse de Labarthe, but was known in Australia for many years by the former name; when 'Duchesse de Brabant' was imported from the US. it was also deemed to be the same rose. It is now commonly known by this name as well.

The name 'Duchesse de Brabant' is still being used. Why do we not listen to Tea Roses: Old Roses for Warm Gardens when they tell us the original and correct name of this rose is Comtesse de Labarthe? ....
