'Frytranquil' arose from the controlled pollination of 'Johnnie Walker' (seed parent') by 'Pot O'Gold' (pollen parent). The breeder was Gareth Fryer, Knutsford, Cheshire, United Kingdom. This variety was selected for development on the basis of flower colour and commercial potential."
