Rosa sericea f. lutea (R. omeiensis 'Lutea') The yellow-flowered form of R. sericea does not appear to have been reported in the wild, except by Kingdon Ward in northern Burma. The plant...R. sericea subsp. omeiensis 'Lutea' is probably the result of hybridization between R. sericea and R. xanthina, as it has 5 petals and a cup-shaped flower like R. xanthina f. hugonis.
