Bred by Pierre (fils) Bernaix (France, 1910).
Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1912 as 'Mrs. Edward Powell'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, semi-double (9-16 petals), scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium, thornless (or almost).  Glossy, dense foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
