Eden Rose, Cl. seems to be named also "Pierre de Ronsard" in France, by Meilland. Best regards. Zambra@freesurf.ch

Exactly. Also in Switzerland the shrub form is called 'Pierre de Ronsard' and the climbing form 'Pierre de Ronsard Grimpant' or 'Pierre de Ronsard, Climbing'

Eden Rose, Cl. is a climbing sport of the Hybrid Tea, Eden/Eden Rose, which was bred by Alain Meilland before 1950. Eden Climber is the rose you are thinking of, better known as Pierre de Ronsard, patented as a "climbing shrub" and hybridized by Marie-Louise Meilland before 1985.
