Descriptions of the habit of this rose in the references show a transition from a shrub HT to a semi-climbing or pillar rose. Do you think thius could have just been a fairly tall shrub HT rather than a climber?
Yes. I agree. The 1942 reference compares 'A. G. Furness' with 'Mary Russell' which was another hybrid tea. We will delete the word "climber", and replace it with "tall". Thanks for the fine-tuning Billy.
