Picked up this rose due to the reported scented foliage.

Can confirm it's scented. It's not as strong as a sweet briar but is quite strong (and a slightly more bitter scent but not unpleasant), stronger than the fedtschenkoana I have (which I can really only detect scent from the new growth).

Now to wait for the buds that are appearing to flower and check it's pollen and then later check if seed develops.

-edit- the fedtschenkoana turned out to not be fedtschenkoana...despite the obvious pink semi double blooms that should have been screaming out "mislabel" at the time but didn't register in my brain for a year :D
