The Briar Rose (Rosa Canina) grows wild in our Mount Lofty Ranges, within a few miles of Adelaide, and as these make the best stocks for standard Roses-being so very hardy-a big export trade to the other States and even New Zealand is carried on by our Rose nurserymen.
