Bloom: Violet-red to rose-pink.  Light wine-red and rose-pink.  Large, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.   
Habit: Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Large, matte, medium green foliage.  7 to 11 leaflets.  
 Height: 9'10" to 16'5" (300 to 500cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
