Bloom: Purple, crimson shading. [Carmine-red.].  Strong fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular, high-centered, scalloped, semi-globular bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.   
Habit: Bushy, upright.  Large, light green foliage.  5 leaflets.  
 Height: 4' (120cm).  Width: 36" (90cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.
