Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, before 1946).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1948 as 'Caprice'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by Wheatcroft Brothers Ltd. in 1948 as 'Lady Eve Price'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1951 as 'Caprice'.

Bloom:
Carmine-pink, yellow undertones, yellow reverse.  Mild fragrance.  18 to 25 petals.  Large, double (17-25 petals), open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 2' to 30" (60 to 75cm).  Width: 30" (75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .
