All the plants I saw at The Home Depots in Denver and Tampa and such were 'Gold Glow' , a Hybrid Tea/Floribuna thing. But the name DID catch my eye! John

Feb 2007 at Home Depot in Bay Area, CALIF. I read the metal tag "GOLD GLOW" and the pkg
label lists it as a climber?!? Last year it was labeled as a 'floribunda': As I am relatively knew to rose growing, I'm easily confused . . . ~kHAAS of Silicon Valley

The ARS publication "Modern Roses 12" says there are three different roses with name "Gold Glow" and another two with "Golden Glow". They are as follows:

1. Gold Glow - Hybrid Tea, deep yellow, introduced in 1959
2. Gold Glow - Climbing, deep yellow, introduced in 1964
3. Gold Glow Bronze Sport - Hybrid Tea, yellow blend, introduced in 1986
4. Golden Glow - Hybrid Tea, apricot blend, introduced in 1918
5. Golden Glow - Hybrid Wichurana, medium yellow, introduced in 1937

This entry is about "Golden Glow" #5.
