Radar (Meilland, 1953). Strongly perfumed, bright, geranium-red, florets of good size and shape. The flowers is particularly attractive when fully opened and the color deepens on the outer aspects of the petals with age. The growth is rather straggly but vigorous and upright with clean foliage. Certainly a fine, decorative, garden sort that seems to have been unduly overlooked. Its qualities both as a seed and pollen bearing parent are exceptionally good.
