Mr. S. J. Bisdee.  Tasmanian Rose Notes.
Rose D'Amour and Rochefort are also in this bed and are both excellent varieties in the fancy class.  Rose D'Amour gives best colour in late summer and autumn, but not very attractive in spring.  Its growth is much more vigorous than Rochefort.  This latter, however, is of excellent colour throughout the season.  I prize them both.
Book  (1944)  Page(s) 70.

Terry Honeybun. Victoria
Rochefort: Is the colour of Mrs. Sam McGredy without the veinings. The flower is full and the bush healthy and vigorous. The colour holds very well in the aged flower.
Book  (1942)  Page(s) 84.

Mr. S. J. Bisdee. Tasmanian Roses.
Rochefort: This Rose is improving and will, I think, develop into an excellent thing. Its coral orange blooms are very pretty.
Growth and foliage are good to date and there is no sign of die-back.
Book  (1941)  Page(s) 109.

Mr. S. J. Bisdee.  Tasmanian Notes.
Rochefort.- A very beautiful variety of rich coral and orange. Its colour does not hold too well here, and gets a bluish tinge as it ages. I hear it is showing die-back on the mainland, but there is no sign of it here. Growth only fair so far.
Book  (1940)

S. p103.  R. Bird.  Roses and Shows in New Zealand
Rochefort, very fine coral orange with a plant that may not maintain the variety indefinitely; requires further trial.

p122.  Mr. S. J. Bisdee.  Tasmanian Rose Notes
Rochefort. Another very fine thing of beautiful form and colour, which is rightly described as intense coral-orange. Growth and foliage very good,
