Arbuste vigoureux, à rameaux fermes, érigés. Feuillage vert foncé, fleurs en panicules terminales, nombreuses, d'un joli coloris rouge très foncé. C'est en somme, le Madame Norbert Lavavasseur, mais à fleur beaucoup plus rouge et ayant l'immense avantage de ne pas bleuir.
