Charles Quest-Ritson.  England v Germany: the Wichurana Ramblers.
Nanette is a very vigorous and exceptionally free-flowering rambler, which won a Gold Medal from our Society in 1925, but was never as popular as it deserved. The strongly scented flowers are small to medium-sized (5-6cm), pure white, semi-double and open out flat: the petals have a distinctive roll which gives the flowers much of the character. They come in long, large, airy clusters, 20 to 50 at a time, starting in mid-season, and continuing late.
