Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, before 1958).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Henry Morse & Sons in 1962 as 'Norwich Pink'.

Hybrid Kordesii, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, golden-yellow stamens.  Strong fragrance.  16 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), flat bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Tall, well-branched.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 10' to 12' (305 to 365cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
