One of the largest-flowered English Roses, bearing rich yellow blooms in the form of giant cups. They have a strong Tea fragrance, developing wonderfully combined notes of Sauternes wine and strawberry. 'Golden Celebration'. English. Syn. AUSgold. Bred by Austin (UK) and introduced in 1992. 'Golden Celebration' has round buds that open to large, cupped truly golden, fragrant flowers. They appear almost continuously through the season. Foliage is large, dark green and glossy and the growth is vigorous, disease-resistant, very tall and arching to 3m (10 ft); it is almost a climber. There is a strong fragrance and the variety continues to bloom through summer and autumn, though in wet weather the arching stems may be bowed down by the heavy flowers.....
