Bought 5 of these 25 years ago at my first meeting of the local rose society at the nursery it was held at. Wanted to make a border in front of our house, the trees have grown over them and the sidewalk . We just trim up the trees. They still bloom faithfully in some shade, Very fragrant in sun. Bees bathe in their stamens when they open up. Heavenly light scent Zone 4B’ Have never had to spray them ,fertilize them or winter protect them. Can not say enough good things about this Rose!! Became an ARS judge for Horticulture and arrangements and a master Consulting Rosarian after that meeting and these roses. Have never seen anyone exhibit them in a show besides me. Should be more widely known,

Description of US 2003070195 (P1)
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0001] The new Rosa hvbrida variety of Floribunda rose plant was created by artificial pollination wherein two parents were crossed which previously had been studied in the hope that they would contribute the desired characteristics. The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) of the new variety was the 'Meigurami' variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 4625). The male parent (i e., the pollen parent) was the product of the cross of the 'Allgold' variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 1665) and the 'Yellow Cushion' variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 2849). The parentage of the new variety can be summarized as follows: [0002] 'MeiguramI'*('Allgold'*'Yellow Cushion').
