Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1922 as 'Mabel Morse'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1923 as 'Mabel Morse'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, lax.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
